Organic greenhouse – municipality of Boulazac (France)
In co-operation with OTV – Toulouse (VEOLIA) Loomans installed a roof-top greenhouse above the sewer water treatment tanks. The organic greenhouse will accommodate the exotic plants reducing odor pollution from the sewer-water treatment process.
A tower crane and high reach scissor lifts were used by the construction crew to lift and install the greenhouse components up to 12 meter above the sewer-water tank floor.
The greenhouse is tested and commissioned in the April and operational since May 2015.
Kuwait Institute for scientific research (Kuwait)
In co-operation with Burgan Agri Co. Loomans designed, delivered, constructed, tested and commissioned a fruit vegetable and pot plant research greenhouse facility. The project contains a glass covered greenhouse, complete with double inside and single outside screens, pad & fan cooling system, electrical heaters, PRIVA Nutrifit fertigation controls and a PRIVA compact environment computer control. Under construction with scheduled testing and commission June 2015.
Municipality of Jubail (Saudi Arabia)

Jubail Municipality Nursery (Saudi Arabia)
After extensive discussions with the management of the Jubail Municipality and the Royal Commission we have designed and constructed a complete nursery project of 6 hectares. Scheduled to be finished by the end of 2014.

Hurricane proof greenhouse (Martinique)
Hurricane proof greenhouse on the French island Martinique. The greenhouse is specially designed to dry sewer sludge from the Marin municipality sewer plant, constructed by Sogea (Vinci-Construction France). The greenhouse is part of the sewer plant, installed by Sogea (Vinci-Construction France) for the municipality of Marin.
Quarantine screen houses (Dar es Salaam, Tanzania)
For the Sugar Board of Tanzania in Dar es Salaam we realized two plant quarantine screen houses for sugar cane research. Each screen house has 7 quarantine compartments. The arch frame is complete out of aluminum and insect penetration is blocked by the special screen.
Nurseries for sprouts (Japan)
We were invited by Murakami Noen to analyze the actual production and packing activities in their various nurseries throughout Japan. Result is a report with recommendations aimed to increase quality and quantity and decrease of production costs.
Glass greenhouse (Kuwait University)
The Kuwait University ordered a glass greenhouse for the recovery of the indoor plants, to use in their university’s buildings. The greenhouse is operated by the university facility management who prepare and control the construction of the new university.

Solar drying of sewer sludge (Richemont, France)
Solar drying of sewer sludge in Richemont, France. The white power coated greenhouse unit of 4.100 m² is capable to dry the sewer sludge from Richemont and the direct surrounded municipalities. A tractor with special designed equipment is aerating the soil several times a day to optimize the drying process.
Composting sewer sludge (Verdun, France)
Composting of sewer sludge in Verdun, France. The glass covered greenhouse is equipped with recirculation fans and speed controlled roof fans for optimum ventilation. Veolia – Environment runs the composting unit on behalf of the municipality of Verdun.
